This is an all original beautifully cared for Martha Washington sewing table /cabinet. The table is made of mahogany featuring the original antique brass knobs for the three drawers the table houses in the front center that can be used to store sewing materials and supplies.
The top of the cabinet easily flips up on both the left and right side revealing deep storage spaces in both, again used to hold items. The table stands on four legs each carved with a ribbed pattern. The cabinet has no serious scratches or damage and has been well cared for over the years. Manufactured sometime between 1915 and the early 1920's and marketed to the general public as a reproduction of the sewing table Martha Washington was said to have used in the 1800's. This is an antique so some wear and tear is to be expected but overall it's a beautiful antique piece.
