Brass Drawer Pulls that Hold Marker Cards. Brass Insert for Locking Drawers (I don't have the locking rods). Not sure of the maker but this was very well made and made to last. It's solid, everything works great, its clean and has no bad smells. I've also included some old index markers that were in the back of the box.

After my husbands mom died we had to clean out his dads old shop. He did a lot of things around town and he painted and worked on cars on the side. He had several old metal and wood boxes that he had used.

I wanted to use it in the house to help organize the boxes and drawers of recipes his mom had collected over her lifetime. It had paint and grease on one side so he sanded that off and put a new coat of varnish on it. You can still see and feel the beautiful stripes and wavy lines in the wood grain.

I removed what was left of 1 hard rubber pad underneath so this now sits flat. And I finally got the recipes in order and put her cookbook together. Now everyone in the family has their own copy and we don't have to spend so much time tracking down who borrowed what recipe last. But, now my husband is gone and I no longer need this. It's time for someone else to have their turn.
