Antique Shaw Walker File Cabinet

  

An early 1900's Shaw Walker file cabinet in fine condition. It appears to be mahogany and sits on a matching four-leg base.

The hardware is the original brass. It has six flat file drawers, two supply drawers at the bottom and a hanging file drawer.

All drawers move without binding and have no warping. The wood is in very good overall condition with the exception of the cup rings on the top.

These would probably vanish with a refinish. This would make a fine addition to your antique collection or a striking addition to your home office. It has been lovingly polished and admired for the past 40 years. I will be happy to answer any questions that I can and provide additional photos at your request.
