UNIQUE ANTIQUE CARVED WOOD CABINET with 2 DRAWERS CUBBY NICHE and TURNED RAILING
UNIQUE ANTIQUE CARVED WOOD CABINET with 2 DRAWERS CUBBY NICHE and TURNED RAILING. UNIQUE ANTIQUE CARVED WOOD CABINET with 2 DRAWERS, CUBBY NICHE and TURNED RAILING TOP. This Unique Antique Hand Carved and Hand Made Table Top Cabinet with the 2 Drawers on the bottom, a Cubby Niche in the middle, and a Turned Wood Railing on 2 sides of the top, has no marks or labels.
Its 16 inches to the top of the railings, 13 3/8 inches to the top plate with the 3 routed edges, its 8 3/4 inches long and 7 3/4 inches front to back around the bottom edge, its 6 inches deep from the top of the niche to the bottom of the 1st drawer, its 7 1/2 inches wide across the outside edges from the top of the niche to the bottom of the lower drawer, there is a soft arch with vertical routing in front at the top of the 6 1/4 inch tall niche, the drawers are 6 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/8 and 2 1/2 inches deep on the outside edge. It shows signs of age and wear, there are a few spots where it looks like its been glued back together but nothing major and nothing in need of repair now that I have found.
The 2 drawers slide easily and the pull loops are good, there is a small hole at the center of the top back plate, maybe it was secured to a wall or even hung on a wall, but even with all the small flaws its a fabulous and unique piece.
