Antique Original French Brass Wall Display Cabinet Mirror Back Lions Head Rare

  

Rate find, original French wall hanging display cabinet with two shelves and mirrored back. It's only had a light clean, was totally black when found.

From the first quarter of the 29th century, has a light fitting inside if needed, not tested, one side pane of glass has been replaced, bother than that totally original. Well cast lions head on the top, curled brass work on the edges.

Stands 48cm high, 39cm wide at widest point and 17cm deep. Two brackets on the back to mount on the wall.

An old piece of cardboard is merely slid down the grooves at the back where the more slides in and out, presumably to make the mirror more rigid when taking off the wall. Nb pictures show cabinet tilted, this is only because of reflections, see last two pictures that show both the cabinet and shelves level. Just a lovely thing, and quite a find.
