She had owned it for about 20 years and had acquired it in North Carolina where she said it had come out of a storefront on the Carolina Coast from the early 1900's. The Solid Pine wood has a wonderful old patina and the hinges and drawer pulls are cast iron and original. The display is two seperate sections. The four glass door top section is not attached to the 15 drawer bottom section. You may also notice that the top section has side lites (glass) on both ends.
The Bottom section Measures : 109" in length, 36" in height and is 20 1/2 in depth. There are 15 draws in the bottom section with cast iron pulls. I included one picture of an empty drawer. The Top section measures: 108 inches in length, 54 1/4 inches in heigth, and 14 1/2 inches in width. The four glass doors have the original wavy glass. The hinges are also original. The finish has many marks or scratches as you can see in some of the photos.... I think it adds character to the display. The previous owner had the bleachers custom build to fit into the bottom half of the top section.... They complement the display and are very useful in enhancing the displayability of the contents. There is a top shelf which is original to the display. I estimate the weight of each section to be around 200-300 lbs each. This item is currently in my office at ZIP 54669.
