This Jacobean Sideboard Server dates from 1920 and is in beautiful condition. The hardware seems a bit out of place as it has the traditional design but is very shiny. I'm thinking it's been recently replaced. The rich patina of the oak is accented with detailed carvings, cup & cover turnings, marvelous barley twist and bun feet. The piece is strong & sturdy and rests on a solid stretcher base.

There are 2 keys with this piece, one is for the doors and one is for the drawer. The drawer is missing the escutcheon. Along the the back edge, there is a hole in the top piece that looks like it could have been to snake an electrical cord through, perhaps for a light....

Do you need storage space, this server will give it to you with 2 large cabinets and 3 drawers and a wonderful serving area on top. There is a slight separation on the top left & right sides where the columns attach (see pictures) but all in all this sideboard is in excellent condition and would make a lovely addition to any home. 4.25H x 20W x 14.50. 20H x 16W x 17D.
