EXCEPTIONAL CHIPPENDALE STYLED JAPANNED TEA TABLE WITH CHINOISERIE DECORATIONS. We are delighted to offer you this most exceptional Chippendale styled Japanned Tea Table by Caiati Furniture.

They are sadly gone now but remaining are their few highly prized products. This is an exact copy of the 18th Century American Japaned Chippendale Tea Table with 12 boldly exaggerated moldings encompassing its top and apron.

It is further defined by big flaring cabriolet knees that terminate into very percise ball and claw talon feet. It has a black paint finish that incorporates a process where it is heavily crazed giving it the texture and exact appearance of a 250 year old specimen. Its top is accented with a raised gold paint over gesso Chinoiserie scene of an Oriental Village. The old dry crusty appearance of the finish on this table had us initially very thrilled and it was not until we actually turned it over to inspect it could we tell it was an exact to every detail copy of the extraordinarily valuable American masterpiece.

We received this having to remove some candle wax on it and under the flash of our camera some faint ring marks appear more prominent then they in fact are. It is 31" long, 20" wide and 28 1/2 tall.
