Vintage French Louis XV Inlaid Lighted Display Half Round Cabinet. This beautiful cabinet Louis XV style half round with foliate scroll and gilt ormolu mounts, wonderful marquetry panels + parquet with floral inlays, a single door that opens to reveal a glazed 3 shelfs inside cut specifically for the contour of this amazing cabinet that is raised on elegant and strong extended legs ended in ormolu. A band of 25 porcelain medallions adorn the outline at the top, and in the center a couple an accompanied by two dogs designed in inlay demonstrates the hard work carried out in this beautiful cabinet. Small metal balls together decorate the outline of the glass on the outside and a white rope on the inside, the floral cream-colored fabric on the backrest make this cabinet rare, unique and special.

Some screws on the medallions have been replaced and the legs have been reinforced for better firmness and durability due to the passage of time. The light has been changed and the glass shelves have been reinforced with security pins for better stability and safety. The key is damaged so it has not been keyed, although we do not know if it is the original. SIZE: 69 ½ "H x 27" W x 15 D.
